(updated 01 May 2020) The statewide stay-at-home order is expected to convert to a “safer-at-home” order, soon. Remote learning will continue through the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Each individual teacher is authorized to choose between real-time or asynchronous teaching. The district and the Association recently entered into an MOU regarding remote learning and how evaluations will work. Please review that MOU ASAP, since it contains time-sensitive provisions. The largest current priority is organizing to protect educators’ pay in the face of looming budget cuts.
Questions about end of year evaluations? See the new MOU and act ASAP! Guidance available at three DCTA townhalls on May 4th, 5th, and 6th.
