Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) Endorses Charmaine Lindsay for DPS School Board in District 5: 

DENVER – The Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA), representing nearly 4,000 Denver Public Schools educators, is proud to announce its endorsement of Charmaine Lindsay for Denver School Board in District 5. This decision comes after an extensive DCTA member lead process of forums, questionnaires, and the consensus among DCTA members that Charmaine is the best choice for endorsement.

“Charmaine Lindsay has consistently demonstrated her commitment to listening to educators and the DPS community to make informed decisions that enhance school safety in Denver Public Schools,” said Rob Gould, special education teacher of the Denver Classroom Teachers Association. “Which is why we are proud to endorse her for Denver School Board in District 5.

“Charmaine is a deep and thoughtful thinker, a public servant and a tireless advocate for students, especially those experiencing challenges within the judicial system. She understands that we must work together to ensure that all students, regardless of their race, background or zip code have equitable access to the support they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

“As the trusted professionals who support students every day, we first handedly know what students need to thrive in the classroom. That is why we invite the community to join us in supporting Charmaine Lindsay in her election for the Denver School Board in District 5!”
