Denver Classroom Teachers Association Releases Recommendations for 2024 General Election:
DENVER,CO—The Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) today released its recommendations as of October 4 for the 2024 general election,which will take place on Tuesday,November 5.
“Educators know firsthand the impact that local policies and elected officials pay in our schools,” said Rob Gould,special education teacher and president of DCTA. “Education is the foundation of a strong community,and that starts with electing candidates who prioritize the needs of students and educators. Our endorsements reflect those who will work with educators,students and families to make sure our students have the safe,welcoming and fully supported schools they deserve. We are also recommending positions of support on ballot measures that we know will support our families and ensure students can come to school ready to learn and grow. ”
