DPS & DCTA New Educator Welcome Event
August 11 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The District’s annual New Educator Welcome is happening on August 11, 2026 at the Auraria Campus. This event is our largest opportunity of the year and we need as many volunteers as possible to help us connect with new hires, discuss our current/upcoming priorities, and invite them to join our fight for the schools our students and educators deserve!
This is also a great opportunity for educators who are interested in getting more involved with DCTA. Training will be provided for both new and returning volunteers.
Volunteers can sign up for a morning or afternoon shift. Sign up to volunteer and we’ll be in touch with more event details as they become available (including the time of shifts).
