Green Valley Elementary Coat Drive

A small business owner and parents at Green Valley Elementary are organizing a coat drive for students in need. We are excited to partner with them to ensure students stay warm this winter. There will be two coat drives on two separate dates. The first drive will be this Friday, December 15. The second drive will be at a later date in mid-January. 

We invite you to get involved in the coat drive by doing some of the following to support: 

• Drop new coats off at the Cuttin’-up Beauty Academy (8101 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80220) between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday this week. Please call (303) 388-5700 prior to your visit
• Email Target gift cards to chanelesimmons@gmail.com – Coat drive volunteers will then utilize the gift cards to go to the store and purchase the coats. 
• You can send money for coats through the CashApp – Donations can be paid to the username: chanelehs. Coat drive volunteers will then utilize this money to purchase coats in stores.
