Innovation Bargaining

Recently, members on the DPS Board introduced a revised version of Executive Limitation Policy 12, which would allow innovation schools to continue to waive contract language including: minimums on planning time, class size caps, duty free lunches, extra duty compensation and more.
By revising this policy, the school board is actively interfering with our contract negotiation process. For this reason, we will return to the bargaining table virtually tomorrow, June 17 from 1-4 p.m. and negotiate around innovation.
