DENVER, CO — Today, the DCTA Fund, a committee made up of DCTA members, is announcing its endorsements for DPS School Board. DCTA has chosen to endorse Tay Anderson for At-Large, Scott Baldermann for District 1, and Brad Laurvick for District 5.
?We are proud to endorse Tay, Scott, and Brad as our candidates for DPS School Board,? said acting DCTA President and Bargaining Chair Rob Gould, ?These candidates will fight alongside students, community members, and educators to change the failed policies of the last ten years of corporate-led ?reform? in DPS.?
This November, Denver voters have a chance to flip the DPS Board and elect School Board Members who will protect our neighborhood public schools, respect and pay teachers as professionals, and create schools Denver students deserve. It’s past time to end the failed policies championed by the DPS board over the last decade. Denver schools shouldn’t be a lab for corporate interests to experiment on our kids.
Teachers urge Denver voters to stand with students, parents, and community members by voting for Tay Anderson, Scott Baldermann, and Brad Laurvick. Together, we can create the schools our students deserve!
