Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) Endorses Scott Baldermann for School Board Director in District 1:

DENVER – The Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA), representing nearly 4,000 Denver Public Schools educators, is proud to announce its endorsement of Scott Baldermann for re-election as School Board Director in District 1. Baldermann’s dedication to public education and improved working and learning conditions for educators and students makes him DCTA’s clear choice for endorsement.

“Scott Baldermann has proven to be a dedicated champion of public education, consistently placing students and educators working and learning conditions on the forefront of his decision-making,” said Rob Gould, special education teacher and president of the Denver Classroom Teachers Association. “Which is why he is our clear choice for endorsement.

“Through his actions and policy initiatives, Scott has shown unwavering commitment to the well-being of our educators and students. Even in the face of challenges, he has remained focused on how our district can best support educators, providing us with the resources and guardrails we need to effectively support our students.

“Baldermann played an integral role in ensuring that educators across all schools have the rights to minimums on planning time and class size caps. He understands that they are necessary to ensure students receive the best supports possible.

“As the trusted professionals who support students every day, educators know what students need to thrive in the classroom. That is why we invite the community to join us in supporting Scott Baldermann in his re-election for school board.”
